IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY DIAL G. O. D.

Over the years I have seen many things happen
to many people.
Some are worse than others but no matter how
bad it gets we can rely on one thing and that is
God.
The Bible says that God is with us at all times and that we can call out to him at any time we need. God does not have specific times when he hears our prayers. This is a good thing because can you imagine if God kept hours like we do.
We go to work 8 to 5 and our work for that day is done.
God does not work that way God is on duty 24 - 7 he waits to hear from us, especially when we are crying out to him or when we are distressed about something.

Let's look and see what the Bible has to say:

Psalms 18:6
In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

It's good to know that no matter how bad things get; God is always willing to listen.
He never leaves us nor forsakes us we can alway count on him to be there when we need him.
The Bible says in the book of:

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

If God said it, he is going to do it.
It's like the old saying, God said it, we believe it, and that settles it.
God and God's Word is always true.
God puts many things in his Bible to reassure us that we are not going to face problems alone.
God has told us that we will have many difficult days but he will see us through them all.

It speaks of this in the book of:

Psalms 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

It's always good at know that no matter what the devil throws at you,
you will always come out of it victories because of what God's Word says.

Look in the book of:

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes, it may get bad but we know that through Jesus Christ; it is going to get better
so when the devil tells you your failures you can know inside of  yourself you will
have the victory. Praise God.
These are scriptures that you need to know when you go into your prayer closet
and you get on your knees and you call God up on the heavenly phone
and you dial that phone number that is better than 911 and that phone number is
G.O.D. You will never get a busy signal or a recording and you will definitely never get
put on eternal hold. God is listening and more than ready and willing to help.

If we look in the Bible you will see that it says we will be Delivered.
Please keep in mind God cannot lie, his word cannot be wrong because God cannot lie.

And this is what he promises us in the book of:

Psalms 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

There are many scriptures just like this one that tells us precisely that God can and will deliver us in today's trouble.
See the devil doesn't want us to know the scriptures because remember the Bible
tells us that Jesus used God's Word to defeat him in the wilderness we can see this
in the book of:

Matthew 4:1-11
1.  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
 2.  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
 3.  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
 4.  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
 5.  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
 6.  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
 7.  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
 8.  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
 9.  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
 10.  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
 11.  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Every time the devil tried to defeat Jesus,
Jesus defeated the devil by using God's Word.
Remember it is not by your power but by the power of God's Word
that will allow you to gain the victory over the devil.
Remember your weapons are not Carnal but Spiritual.

You have to use the Word of God like a soldier would use a gun to defend himself.
Your Bible is your weapon and like any weapon it depends on how good you are
with it. It  will determine the outcome of the battle.
All soldiers are trained to win.
All Christians are trained for victory in the church by the Pastor and by knowing God's Word.

We also have to remember this, that some trials that we go through we have to be willing to accept God's will and not our own will.
Jesus face the same situation, remember when he went into the garden with his disciples to pray, he knew what was coming, he knew they were coming for him.
This was one of the greatest trials that Jesus was going to face, he knew he was going to be crucified.

Look at what the Word of God says he did:

Mark 14:36
And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Just like Jesus we have to learn to accept inside of our life's, what the will of God is.

This does not mean that when things go wrong or the pressure gets too much
we shouldn't pray about it.
This is not what I am saying, this is not what the Word of God is saying.
God gave us his Bible to use as a guide for us, to help us in times of trouble.
But always leave room for God in these times, this way we will not go against God's will.
Jesus prayed to see if there was another way to deal with this situation.
Let's face it no one in their right mind would want to be crucified.
I know I wouldn't want to be and I am pretty sure that Jesus didn't want to if there was another way.
But he accepted God's will and he had to fulfill God's will.
And this is what we have to accept when it comes to trials and tribulations
God will always turn those things that are meant for evil into good.
This is what happened with Jesus. God took what Jesus did on the cross
for us and turned it  around to be something wonderful.  If the Lord Jesus had not paid the pay for us none of us would be saves today.

We have to understand that when troubles comes you can call G. O. D.
and he will deliver you but just remember it will be in his time not yours.
This does not mean that God can't do it, it just means it isn't time.
Remember, God is never late he is always on time.
And just like Jesus whatever you go through it is going to bring God Glory.

God uses us because he believes in us just like he believed in Job.
If you read the book of Job, you will see that the devil came before God
and taunted him about Job; he told God to let him touch him and that he would curse God.
God had so much confidence in Job that he took the devil's challenge to prove to him
that there are people that are sold out to God.
Job may have lost everything but read the whole story.
God turned what was meant to be evil towards him into good.
Job received back everything he lost and more.
God sees when we are faithful to him and rewards the righteous.

When you are faced with troubled times remember God is always in control.
Do not lose faith in that
There is not one thing that goes on in your life that God is not aware of.

Remember what the Bible says:
Psalms 37:7
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Remember God is always listening:
